One of IABC/BV’s core purposes is encouraging the betterment of its members through professional development. Information on upcoming monthly programs, workshops, and seminars can always be found on the chapters main page and registration areas.

Monthly Programs

Each month, IABC/BV offers a professional development program about a business communications topic. Lunch is included, and it’s a great opportunity to network with other communicators. Meetings are from 11:45 am. to 1:00 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month at Briarcrest Country Club, 1929 Country Club Drive, Bryan, TX. Workshops and Seminars

We regularly offer special workshops on various issues in business communications, public relations and marketing. Recent workshops have focused on strategic communications planning and web site management. Meeting times and places will be announced in the member newsletter and on the chapter’s web site.

Conferences

The annual IABC international conference and the annual IABC Southern Region conference both offer excellent sessions covering timely (and timeless) issues business communicators face. The International conference also includes opportunities for networking with colleagues from around the nation and world.
